This Privacy Policy explains how Social Tycoon handles personal information. For our own websites and customer accounts, we act as a data controller. For personal data processed within a customer’s social network on behalf of that customer, we act as a data processor — see our Data Processing Agreement.

- Communications — messages you send to support or sales.
02How we use information
- Provide, maintain and improve the Service.
- Process payments and manage your subscription.
- Respond to inquiries and provide support.
- Send service and, where permitted, marketing communications.
- Detect, prevent and address security and abuse.

03Legal bases (GDPR)
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract; legitimate interests (e.g., securing and improving the Service); consent (e.g., certain marketing and cookies); and compliance with legal obligations.
04Sharing & disclosure
We share personal information with service providers (sub-processors) that help us operate the Service, such as hosting, payment processing and analytics, under appropriate contractual safeguards. We may disclose information to comply with law or protect rights and safety. We do not sell personal information.
05Cookies & tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.
06Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Customer Content is retained per your configuration and deleted following account termination, subject to a short recovery window.
07Security
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and monitoring. See our Security overview.
08Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us. End users of a customer network should contact that network’s operator (the controller) first.
09International transfers
We may transfer personal information to countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
10Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law (e.g., 13 in the US, or higher in some regions). Network operators are responsible for age-appropriate configuration of their communities.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will post the revised version with a new “last updated” date.
